Rev. Brian Dulli, Pastor
Parish Office Hours: M-Th, 9am-12pm
Last Saturday, November 5th, was a notable evening at our parish. The 5pm evening Mass was offered for all the deceased members of the Knights of Columbus. Therefore, the Honor Guard of the Knights of Columbus took part in the opening and closing processions and came forward after the homily while Dale Freund read the names of all the deceased members of our local council, making special mention of the Knights who have passed away this past year.
We also had the Children’s Choir sing at this Mass for the first time this academic year. The Children’s Choir has grown greatly this year, and it was wonderful to hear the children praising our Lord through song.
Lastly, the All Saints Day party, which was hosted by our confirmation students, took place after Mass. The meal was a potluck dinner, and the saints costume parade featured a good mix of saints including St. Kateri, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Joan of Arc, and St. Leo. There were several games set up and run by the confirmation students and enjoyed by the children in attendance. The piñata may have been the most memorable game of the night. Cheered on by the children, Father Michael gave the piñata a whack and the bat got away from him! See below:
