February Uncle E's Pizza Charity of the Month
We received word that St. Patrick was selected to be a Charity of the Month for February 2019, for Uncle E's Pizza sold at the Cottage Grove Piggly Wiggly!

For the entire month of February, Uncle E's will donate $1 per pizza sold at the Cottage Grove Piggly Wiggly location! How awesome is that?!

Uncle E's Pizza is a small mom and pop business, started in Madison WI. They are dedicated to making delicious, high quality pizza. They are Christian owned and volunteer operated with a commitment to faith, family, and fun. Every pizza they make is prayed over that whoever should eat them would be blessed, healed, and come closer to God. $1 of every pizza sold goes back to non-profit organizations, charities, and the people in our own local communities to help others and to further God's kingdom purpose, by being the Good News!

Knights of Columbus Fish Fry on February 15th & March 15th!
The Cottage Grove Knights of Columbus are sponsoring an an All You Can Eat Fish Fry featuring Deep Fried Cod, Macaroni and Cheese, Baked Potatoes, Green Beans, Coleslaw, Beverages, and Dessert.
Carry-outs are available

Grade 7- Parent Information Meeting for Theology of the Body for Teens- Middle School Edition RESCHEDULED DUE TO WEATHER!  
Wednesday, February 13th at 6:00 in the church
Pope John Paul II delivered a profoundly beautiful vision of human sexuality that he called the Theology of the Body. It is revolutionizing the way parents and educators teach morality and chastity to youth, as it provides the “whys” behind the “whats,” paving the way to true freedom and happiness .   Theology of the Body for Teens: Middle School Edition is an exciting and dynamic program based on Pope John Paul II’s revolutionary Theology of the Body that will be taught to the 7th graders beginning in March.  Parents are invited to attend an information session to learn more about the program on Wednesday, February 13th in the church.  Please contact Kristia Loeder with any questions.   kristia.loeder@st-patrick-parish.com


Fundraising Mission Trip Meeting for Love Begins Here & Catholic Heart Workcamp
Parents of teens participating in LBH and CHWC please plan on attending a fundraising meeting on Sunday, February 10th at 6:30 pm.  We will be taking care of all of the paperwork/registration and discussing fundraising opportunities.  If your son or daughter is planning on fundraising for mission trips or the Camp Gray Adventure Day, please plan on attending!  




Spaghetti Supper & Help Needed
We have a Spaghetti Dinner coming up on Friday, March 1st!  All of the proceeds support our Faith Formation Youth Activities!   We will need donations of spaghetti noodles, jars of spaghetti sauce, and desserts.  Please check out the online sign-up to volunteer time and items to make our Spaghetti Dinner a success!   https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0f4baaae2fa5fa7-spaghetti1

Students in Grades 6-8 and Confirmation students are strongly encouraged to work at the dinner.  They will be serving, pouring drinks and helping with clean-up.  By assisting, the students will be raising funds to help offset the costs for Love Begins Here, Catholic Heart Workcamp, and Camp Gray Middle School Adventure Day.  The Confirmation students can accumulate more volunteer service hours.




Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of Lent, is Wednesday, March 6th!

First Communion Students
Just a reminder that we have our Reconciliation Formation Retreat on Saturday, April 6th  at St. Patrick from 1 pm - 6 pm.  This is for students and parents and will be the same format as our Reconciliation Formation Retreat.  Parents will be receiving a packet of information in the mail next week. 







Shamrock Spree
Save the date for the Annual Shamrock Spree March 16 following 5PM mass in St. Patrick Hall. Join fellow parishioners for an evening of great food, games, and fellowship. Activities: Catered dinner 6:30-7:30, followed by raffle, cards and bingo. Join for all or some of the evening. Spree donation envelopes can be found in the pews of church and returned during mass collection or the locked box outside the parish center entrance.

Dinner Menu: Adult (13 and over $16) Corned Beef & Cabbage, Rotisserie Turkey, Mashed Potatoes w/gravy, Rolls, Sides and Dessert. Child (5-12 $8) Chicken Strips, Mac & Cheese, and sides, dessert. 4 and under no charge Beginning in February through March 10 raffle tickets will be available for distribution and 160 dinner tickets available for purchase. Please return raffle ticket stubs with $ to green container at church entrance.

Donations are much appreciated and help support the raffle. Parishioners wishing to donate new, quality raffle items are welcomed to do this. Items can be dropped off by March 1st and may be delivered to Kathy Fahey’s office in the parish center Monday –Thursday 9am to 4pm.

Help Needed: Many helpers make for little work. Please sign up at church entrance to lend a hand with spree tasks. Your help is very much appreciated!! 

Save the Date!  
Mark your calendars for July 29th- August 1st!  We are excited to offer Vacation Bible School again this summer at St. Patrick!  We will be revealing our 2019 VBS theme very soon!

Don't forget to take advantage of our SCRIP program!  This is a super easy way to help support our Faith Formation Program!  If you would like an order form sent home with your child, please let us know.
