Totus Tuus - A Huge Success!

St. Patrick's and Immaculate Heart of Mary Parishes just finished co-hosting a fantastic week of Tutus Tuus ~ a summer catechetical youth program. Each day nearly 90 kids ages 6-11 attended the day sessions and 14 teens attended the evening sessions. Totus Tuus, a Latin phrase meaning "totally yours," is dedicated to proclamation of the Gospel and promoting the Catholic faith through evangelization, catechesis, apologetics, Christian witness, the sacraments, Marian devotion, and Eucharistic worship. This year's theme was Prayer, the Our Father and the Glorious Mysteries. Fr. Michael held Daily Masses and confession for the children and adoration and confession for the teens. Thank you to all of the parishioners and families for your support in giving the teaching team a place to live, hosting the team for dinners, providing lunch for the team, coordinating the potluck and for encouraging your children to attend. We couldn't have pulled this off without you.
