First Reconciliation
We’re sure there was much rejoicing in heaven as our 2nd graders celebrated their First Reconciliation! Congratulations! May they always seek the forgiveness of our merciful God as they continue on their journey of faith!  Please keep our students in your prayers, as they continue their preparation for their First Holy Communion on April 29th!  Pictures from First Reconciliation are posted on the St. Patrick Facebook page. 


Attention 6th, 7th and 8th Graders! 
We took a small group from St. Patrick last year to check out Camp Gray Middle School Adventure Day and had a blast! Who would like to go this year? Saturday, May 5th ~ 8:30-4:00 ~ $40. Transportation will be figured out when we know how many are going. Please share your interest with Kristia by Friday, April 13...that's super soon!!!

Rosary, Jewelry, & Crucifix Sale

Eucharist Formation Retreat
.Just a reminder that we have our Eucharist Formation Retreat on Saturday, April 14th from 9 am to 12:30 pm at St. Patrick.  This is for students and parents.  Please return your retreat form ASAP if you haven't already done so.  


Come Take the Journey!
There are still open spots available for our pilgrimage to  The Shrine of Christ's Passion on April 26th!  The shrine is in St. John, Indiana, which is about 35 miles south of Chicago.  Details and reservation forms can be found in the entryway of the church, on our website, and on our Facebook page.   You can find out more about the shrine here.



Stations of the Cross
If you haven't already, check out the pictures from when our classes attended the Stations of the Cross during Lent here and here.  A huge thank you to Bernie & Kathy Heit for leading the students!  We're so very grateful for all of our wonderful parishioners who donate their time! 

Confession
Students in Grades 3-8 have been reviewing the steps for preparing and going to Confession in class.  They all received their own "Confession Companion" booklets, which should be kept in their Faith Formation bags.  They can bring the booklets right into the confessional with them, so they aren't nervous and are well-prepared.  Confession was originally scheduled for March 21st, but had to be changed, so students will be attending next Wednesday, April 11th.  

Here is a our schedule for Reconciliation for Grades 3-8 for April 11th:  

6:00 pm
3^rd & 6^th Grade  (students should go straight to the church instead of their classroom)

6: 20 pm
4^th & 5^th Grade

6:40 pm
7^th & 8^th Grade




Faith Formation Registration 2018-2019
All current Faith Formation families should have received the 2018-2019 registration form in the mail.  Please fill it out and return it to St. Patrick by our last class on April 25th.  NO FEES ARE DUE AT THIS TIME---FAMILIES WILL RECEIVE AN INVOICE ON THE FIRST NIGHT OF CLASSES IN SEPTEMBER.  We will be ordering materials soon, so need an accurate count, so that is why registration forms are due earlier this year.  A late fee of $25.00 will be applied if your registration form is not received by April 25th.  



Vacation Bible School at St. Patrick!  
Mark your calendars for July 23rd-27th!  We will be offering a Totally Catholic Vacation Bible School for children 4 years old through 6th grade this summer!  Set Sail with the Holy Trinity featuring St. Patrick VBS will be from 9 am to noon at St. Patrick. Registration forms will be coming home next Wednesday, April 11th!   We'll be looking for volunteers (students and adults) to help make this a fun & successful week! 



SCRIP
Don't forget to take advantage of our SCRIP program!  This is a super easy way to help support our Faith Formation Program!  If you would like an order form sent home with your child, please let us know.  


Faith Formation Fees
If your family has an outstanding balance, please make sure that it is paid by our last class.  Please keep in mind that no one is turned away from our Faith Formation programs.  If you are having difficulty in paying your fees, please contact Stephanie, Kristia, or Fr. Michael.  



  
Catholic Heart Workcamp
We do have ONE spot open for CHWC-Milwaukee June 10th-15th!  If you have a teen in 8th grade or above, and would like more information, please contact Stephanie!
