All men of the parish are invited to the rectory
this Thursday, November 7th at 7:30pm when we will begin a video series called “Kapaun’s Men”. Fr. Emil Kapaun was a U.S. Army chaplain from Kansas who served during World War II and the Korean War. He was known for his sacrificial heroism as a prisoner of war in North Korea, where he died. He was declared a “Servant of God” by Pope St. John Paul II in 1993 and is currently being considered by the Congregation for the Causes of Saints at the Vatican for canonization as a saint. Fr. Emil was also posthumously awarded the Legion of Merit, Purple Heart, and Medal of Honor. Come and enjoy fellowship and discussion of our call as men to be virtuous leaders in our community!
